About the Author

I have been an occupational therapist for more than 30 years. I graduated from San Jose State University with degrees in Occupational Therapy, Gerontology, and Early Childhood Development. My passion is working with adults and children in home health but I have also worked in acute rehab, sub-acute rehab, hand therapy, transitional living for TBI, and hospital-based outpatient.

The Occupational Therapy Toolkit started in 1997 when I created a website to share my ideas, resources, and experiences. It has developed into a comprehensive collection of illustrated Patient Handouts and Treatment Guides.

My goal is to provide you with a practical, valuable resource for physical disabilities, chronic conditions, and geriatrics that you can use every day in your OT practice.
