Celebrate Occupational Therapy Month!

by Cheryl Hall on April 24th, 2022

How did you celebrate OT Month 2022? I had great fun jumping into the #ABCsofOT social media challenge for the first time.

The brainchild of @shannenmarie_ot, the #ABCsofOT challenge started 7 years ago. The assignment? Promote OT by creating 26 occupational therapy posts corresponding with the letters of the alphabet. The “A-Z “ showcases the scope of our practice by highlighting OT concepts, interventions, difficulties, activities, or careers. What an easy and fun way to participate in OT Month, advocate for OT, and educate the world about Occupational Therapy!

I not only enjoyed all the different ideas for each letter of the alphabet, but all the photos, videos, graphic design, original art, time, energy, and creativity. Check out a few of my favorites OT who took up the ABCsofOT Challenge.

Check out their posts, follow a fellow OT, and celebrate OT, not only for the rest of April, but all year around.
